How to Measure for a Pull Stop Collar
The maximum circumference (2) must be large enough to comfortably pass over your dog’s head.
The recommended neck circumference (1) refers to your dog’s actual neck measurement. It is steplessly adjustable. This is the size the collar will tighten to when under tension.
For safety, the tightened neck circumference must be smaller than your dog’s head circumference. This ensures the collar cannot slip over the head when pulled.
Measure your dog’s neck at the position where the collar will sit. The measuring tape should be snug, but not tight — you should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck.
